Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who has paid to subscribe to the WFRoundup!

Thank you!

Whether you are a founding member or stumbled upon the WFRoundup somewhere along the way, we are incredibly grateful for your paid subscription and support.

You may have noticed that every post we’ve shared lately is open to everyone—free to read and enjoy. So you might wonder: what does your $10 yearly subscription really do? (p.s. If you paid more to help get the WFRoundup off the ground, thank you!)

Your $10 subscription does more than you might imagine. Last year, it allowed me, Claudia, to give a small gift of thanks to our three admins of Westchester Foodies...Bliss, Chandreyee and Monica —who volunteer around the clock and have done so for years to ensure that Westchester Foodies remains a kind and welcoming space.

Of the thousands of members in the Westchester Foodies community, 237 have chosen to pay to subscribe since we launched just a year ago. We rarely ask for support, because we know how many demands and worthy causes compete for your attention. But the truth is simple: without financial support, the Westchester Foodies Community and the WFRoundup cannot continue to exist.

(If you are a paid subscriber, your subscription will automatically renew and thank you!)

If you value being part of a 100% positive community of cooks and eaters, if you’ve enjoyed our incredible menu tasting events or joined in on our fundraisers that have supported hunger-related nonprofits, then I invite you to please become a paid subscriber. Your support—no matter how small—truly keeps this community  and the WFRoundup alive.

For those who enjoy bullet points.

Just a few things you get by being a member of Westchester Foodies and the WFRoundup...

  • A peaceful and joyful space (to escape the madness) to wave your foodie flag or simply lurk joyfully among delicious food posts. Community.
  • A place to share your cottage food business or any food business in a personal way that creates a meaningful and lasting connection to your brand with 24k members, not just casual followers. When a food business owner makes an effort to personally connect with other members, our community rallies behind that business in amazing ways.
  • WFRoundup members get first dibs on incredible and fairly-priced menu tasting events at restaurants that are already loved. Here is a list of previous events: Barley House, Brother’s Fish & Chips, Heritage 147, Freddy’s, Vida, Mumbai Katta (sold out!) and save the date… Piccola Trattoria on October 8th!
  • Free events in honor of our community.Yup, thus far Deciccos in Sleepy Hollow hosted a beautiful event at their restaurant, The Hollows, which is located above their stunning state-of-the art grocery store in Sleepy Hollow. Around 200 of us attended. Recently, the newly redesigned Sonesta hotel, restaurant and bar hosted a menu-tasting party for our group. The free tickets disappeared fast and the event was so much fun.
  • We don’t just raise money for hunger-related causes, we make it fun, exciting and rewarding. We were able to raise over 20k this summer for Second Chance Foods because not only did many of our members offer up their talents, but so many amazing businesses did too. Where else could you win a Chinoiserie party for six in the home of a local culinary and cultural icon like Mark Kramer or a gorgeous restored copper pan complete with a private cooking lesson from a super duper talented Chef and craftsperson like Zac Greybeard? Here! That’s where.
  • Access to cool resources like our hot off the press Coffee Cheat Sheet!

All of these wonderful perks take time create and you know what time is?… in addition to being an illusion. Mula, money, bread, cheddar, clams. We need to work on some new slang for money. 🧡
