Friday September 25th - Captain Lawrence Brewing - 6-10pm

Hey Everybody! This is not an official WFRoundup event, but you may know how much we love to support Second Chance Foods. Barring natural disasters and kid disasters, I will be there yelling "I love this song!" as I run, waving hands maniacally, to wherever others are sharing my enthusiasm.

"Get ready for an unforgettable night featuring The M80s—New York's premier MTV '80s tribute band, performing the biggest hits of the decade, along with Local Politics, a hard-charging '90s alt-rock group, opening this night of great music. With an expected crowd of 500 attendees, this high-energy event benefiting Second Chance Foods will be a night of big hair, big hits, and big impact!"

Beer and nibbles will be available for purchase, but if you make a donation to Second Chance Foods, you will get happy hour pricing all night! If you are not familiar with Captain Lawrence Brewing, they are a wonderful brewery, distillery, and place of delicious food, and a generally fun place to hang year-round.

Second Chance Foods rescues hundreds of thousands of perfectly good ingredients that were destined for landfill, and lovingly preps, cooks, and packages delicious, healthy meals for people in need. They also create food boxes, and even tailor them to a family's dietary needs. They are mostly volunteer-run and do it all on a shoestring budget, which is why we choose to support them. It is a great place to volunteer if you are a foodie, or simply have a big heart.
