A generous bunch of foodies.
When Mark Kramer heard that we were not able to have a large fundraiser like we did last year, he stepped in to sweeten the deal.

When Mark Kramer—chef and co-owner of Susan Lawrence Catering—heard we were hosting a fundraiser for Second Chance Foods during Hudson Valley Gives (on a smaller scale this year), he immediately offered a Chinoiserie Dinner for Six at his home as a prize again.
With Mark’s incredible dinner, generous donations, and gift cards from many beloved local restaurants, we raised over $20,000 last year.
If you’re new to Second Chance Foods, they’re a small but mighty nonprofit that rescues surplus food and turns it into wholesome meals for neighbors facing hunger. We may host another big fundraiser in the future, but we couldn’t sit this one out—hunger is year-round, and nonprofits depend on ongoing support. Second Chance Foods does incredible work with every dollar they receive.
Last year, Second Chance Foods awarded our lovely community their Golden Spoon award for helping make a bigger impact towards feeding more people.
Back to Mark’s amazing offering! For every $10 donated, you’ll be entered once to win. Donate $30, and you’ll be entered three times—you get the idea.

Thank you so much for choosing to support this wonderful organization.
