YOU and YOU and YOU and YOU!

(Go ahead, scroll to see if you won, but come back up here when you are done. 🧡)

You guys! This is amazing. Together, we raised over $20,000 for Second Chance Foods. A giant thank you to our members who donated their wares and time to this beautiful cause and to the humans behind the amazing businesses who donated. Every singe donation came from an owner who said yes to being a part of this fundraiser. And thank you to everyone who participated, whether you simply commented on a post to give it a boost or donated money in hopes of winning a prize. "We" did this. A heartfelt thank you to Maggy Keet—though she works for Second Chance Foods, she has gone above and beyond to help make this campaign a success and has brought tremendous value to our group. The woman behind the scenes who I would not have attempted this fundraiser without is my friend and career number cruncher, Cori Worchel. Cori happens to be the other half of Piccola Trattoria in Dobb's Ferry and was also instrumental in the success of the our fundraiser that raised over 11k in five days for restaurant victims of hurricane Ida.

We’ll be reaching out to each winner individually to connect them with their prize.

And the winners are...

The winner of a Chinoiserie celebration at Mark Kramer's home is Joyce Gordon Striar!

A fantasy garden dinner for six at the breathtaking home of Mark Kramer of Susan Lawrence Gourmet Foods. Mark is number one in the member donations section because he is "Mark" first and owner of Susan Lawrence, second. He generous, big-hearted, and deeply beloved by this community. This marks the second celebration for six that he’s graciously offered. The last, a stunning garden party, helped raise over $11,000 in just five days to support restaurants devastated by Hurricane Ida. For some, that $1,000 meant the difference between staying open or closing their doors. For others, it was a powerful reminder that their community was there.

Please visit Mark's beautiful post to learn more about this incredible offering. But don't forget to come back and keep scrolling!

The winners of TWO $100 gift cards to Piccola Trattoria are Monica Hens and Pamela Delbalzo!

(Owner/Chef Sergio Pennacchio.) I'll never forget the first time that I (Claudia) felt special at Piccola Trattoria. Chef Sergio came out to the table and said hello and asked how dinner was going. This was at their original location when Piccola was truly piccola. And then I noticed that he visited every. single. table. The thing is that once you go to Piccola, there is no way you aren't becoming a regular. The restaurant has relocated to a larger space that still feels intimate and Chef Sergio still comes out to say hello to regulars and newbies alike. They have also won many accolades upon their return from their hiatus and don't get me started on the crew... Gustavo, Peter, another Gustavo... as well as his amazing kitchen staff. Oh and the food. We had thought of having Piccola offer up a "Claudia's Favorite's dinner, which would have included the carciofi, the insalata fresca, the occasional creamy polenta special, the canneloni and lastly... the best steak that I have had in a restaurant. BUT there are so many great dishes at Piccola, plus specials that are actually special, that want you to do Piccola your way! (Bias was very much a part of this write-up.) - Dobb's Ferry

Oof. - Tuckahoe

The winner of $200 to Goosefeather is Silchen Lee!

- This remarkable restaurant, often referred to as "Goosefeathers!" in Westchester Foodies is probably the most recommended special occasion restaurant in our little group of 23k people. We are very happy that Chef Dale Talde chose the historic King Mansion located on the Tarrytown House Estate to land this beautiful restaurant. Dining at Goosefeather, indoors or out is a treat for all senses. His dishes strike a perfect balance between the unexpected and the familiar, leaving such a lasting impression that you’ll find yourself dreaming up excuses to return. Chef Elmer Oliveros is an artist and master of all things from the sea. His tasting menus, that pair the best wild seafood with seasonal and local farm produce, aren’t just legendary—they’re a bucket-list experience for serious food lovers. Each bite a symphony of flavors and textures. Every week, he visits the fish market and buys only the freshest fish and tries as much as possible to source locally. When you enjoy the tasting menu at Brothers, it comes with a personal explanation of each course. Chef Elmer is passionate and deeply knowledgable about wine and is just as thoughtful about the pairings as he is the food. Alongside the main restaurant, Chef Elmer runs a laid-back spot where the standout is, by many accounts, fish and chips that rival the best you’ll find in England. The winner of $150 to TVB by Pax Romana is Dee Massiah!

- Owned by Paul Russo and Alfredo Runco, "Pax” was one of my first restaurant crushes in Westchester. Not only is the food always spectacularly yummy…,it is also comforting and ingredient-focused… but Paul and Alfredo’s energy is the secret sauce that hooks you. The vibes are young, fresh and a little sexy, yet comforting. On a recent visit, I was saying to Paul how I really admired restaurant owners who managed to keep most or all of their employees throughout a pandemic and through difficult economic times. Paul was emphatic about putting his team above everything else, including customers, although I can tell you that as a customer, I’ve always felt very special. I was super excited to discover that they had re-launched their amazing #pasta classes, and that they are once again headed up by @chefcristianny - who is so much fun and very talented. You’ll get way more than you paid for these classes. Cheers to you Paul and Alfredo! 🥂😘 - White Plains
